Cool mist falling upon the ground, silence observed, no one around.
Stones set in a circle in place. the air is filled with lavendar lace.
Thrice around the circle of old, wonders, gifts, and magick unfolds.
Homage paid to the forest today, as fae come out, to frolic and play.
Chant and deed, done in a spell of rhyme, done at this specific time.
A bow now to the old ones I see, who now join in this ritual with me....Panisch
Author's Notes: Written to remember a woodland Midsummer ritual I did that was very real and inspiring to me.
