Coming Home

Age Group: Adult
hidden in shadow
lost in the light
looking for absolution
a whispering voice
softly calling
unheard in daily life
the tiny sign
blinking slowly
beckon's you to come in
open the door
the smell of books
flickering candles abound
a woman appears
plain, yet commanding
smiles, and say's "Blessed Be"
wander around
look at the books
wonder at what you've found
the names slowly come
a quiet remembering
overwhelming love soon follows
go back outside
celebrate the light
dance around in joy
Shakti remembers
Shiva rejoices
as they welcome you home
Author's Notes: i'm not entirely sure if this relates to my life, or if it's just an idea i had. i hope you enjoyed it.
