Demons

The demons everywhere i can feel his presence lurking in the shadows
I can hear him calling me taunting me
I try to run but he grabs me and holds me down.
Powerless to stop him, I feel his fingers wrapping around my heart.
I scream, but nothing comes out
Consumed in his hate and his rage there is no where to escape.
I fear that he is sucking out my soul, the very essence that makes me, me.
Slowly i see myself turning to stone.
Silence, void, nothingness.I fear that is all that is left of me.
Author's Notes: The Demon was a very powerful man that tried to impose his will upon me that is when this poem was born from my subconscious.Its a bit dark i admit, but this poem helped me shape the person i am today.Heather
