Winter Meditation

The leaves have fallen once again
and the land grows still
life withdraws
sinking into the ground
not dead but sleeping
waiting
This is the time of reflection
the place of silence
souls at rest
communing with the Source
not dead but sleeping
waiting
The land will be green once again
the Sun will return
life return
the turning of the Wheel
listen in silence
waiting
