Notes from Motes of Shadow

There was a note upon the floor.
It had fluttered through the open door.
A gaze of sorrow and gold,
Could not bare to know what it may hold.
Quietly obtrusive in it's patient waiting,
A sheet delicate white joyously baiting.
Shadow passes outside the way,
Curiosity surges, what does it say?
Pale fingers unfold the page,
A breath is held for an eternities age.
"You are loved, " shines up in brilliant red,
Laughter lifts and shadows fall like lead.
Author's Notes: Sometimes we need to send ourselves notes that we are loved even the most loved of us can feel unlovable at moments and need to be reminded. So this is my "love letter" to everyone for those moments.
