my religion
by the shadow of the wickerman
Age Group: Adult
Forever heard in the wind that blows
forever felt in me
Beating in my heart
with every breath I take
seen in the leaves
falling from the trees
A beautiful creation
Nature's will unfurled
There in everything we do
In every boy and girl
All the things that reign above
All the things below
In the birth of spring's first leaves
In the spark there in the air
seconds before the first snow
In everything within us
in everything without
So much is there for us to see
What everything is about
I choose not to forget the past
What nature has to teach
For it is my religion
and it goes beyond all speech
