Within Sacred Space

By the light of the moon
We witches three ,
Create enchantments for all to see
Crafting our spell we chant by the fire
Watching the flames fickering higher and higher.
Summoning spirits to hear our call
Cloaked by darkness , safe from all.
Three times we hear the ringing of the bell
We drift into the elemental realm.
Forces unseen by the natural eye
A gift to those in the craft of the wise.
Knowledge unleashed
Imbued in the spirit.
Mysteries to teach
For those who will hear it .
We ascend into the air while still entranced
Elementals lead us into our spiral dance.
Faster and Faster
we increase the pace.
While dancing within this sacred place.
The fire of the dance,
reaches our very core.
Power is unleashed forever more.
A blinding light as our spirits ground.
The echoes of " So Mote It Be " all around.
Upon this night , with spirits we danced.
We were given the sight
Our gifts enhanced.
Touched by the gods
With knowledge and grace.
We give honor within this sacred space ...

" Within Sacred Space " , this was written after a morning devotional. Creative energies seemed to be all around me at that time. I'm placing it here for you to read and enjoy.
