fireflies fly around your wings

flying into death
Taste it!
Human, bird, fly, fire
Flamed desire
Blacken dance
Black Phoenix
bird of Fire
Thorn, rose, lotus, love
flying into Life
Nubian bird
Life and death anew
Feel it!
BE it!
Fly!
Author's Notes: I originally wrote this in April 2002. It won me two awards in local poetry concerts. This poem came from a recurring dream. I saw a large black bird growning out from bright flames and I flew with It. it only took 5 minutes for me to write this. I am very proud of this poem, it is a gem!
