Ausset, EzEz, Isis: Queen of Nubia

Oh come and let us feel the rapture and the ecstasy.....
Oh come and let us fly into what was day.........
into what is now the night.......
Come and place your breath upon My veil
Hug me with My bosom pressed against Your wings!
Let us walk into the blue of the night!
Let us dance under the darkened sky for our Queen awaits us all!
Heal thyself with the gleam of the Nile!
Let us bow at our Queen's feet
She is the shining Moon!
She is the darkened sky!
She is the light of Egypt!
She is will and might!
Isis, my Queen
Author's Notes: I wrote this April 2001 right before my knee surgery on May 15, 2001. This poem gave me a source of peace and harmony!!!!
