Silent Screaming

Age Group: Adult
Waves of pain rush through my heart
Washing over me like real ocean waves
Dashing hopes, shattering dreams
The pain is real, so real it hurts
No one knows just how real it can be.
The tears flow
Raging like a river with no sign of stopping
I try so hard but to no avail
Everywhere I turn there is a wall
A wall that causes more and more pain.
The screaming starts now
But only in my head
I can't make it stop no matter how hard I try
I am dying inside
Slowly, slowly fading into nothing.
