Loneliness

Age Group: Adult
Lonelisness sweeps in
Like darkness and dispair
Taking over the happiness
Blocking out the sun
Washing over her like sudden nightfall.
How can she be so lonely
With so many people around
Hiding her sadness with a mask of smiles?
No one to talk to
No one to listen
No one to even pretend to care.
Maybe soon her tears will flow like a river
Taking her away from the pain and sadness
Away from the darkness and into the sun
Will that day ever come
Or will the loneliness take away all that she holds dear--
her hopes, her dreams, her smiles.....
even her very life??
