Journey Starts

Lights I see in the forest deep
Quietly, stalking, closer I creep
Hundreds of Fae, each a light of their own
A gift from the Mother, her power shown
I feel her smile as the antics she views
Of the little ones glee in mischief pursued
I feel her power turn as I approach
She welcomes me with no reproach
Words fill my mind from her power bright
I’ve been waiting my child, the time is now right
Learn of my love and set yourself free
Know that you have always been a part of me
Colors of Her energies swirling around
Come from the night sky and deep underground
They wrap all around me and my spirit is lifted
I accept this holy power so generously gifted
The night seems so young but now I must part
I leave knowing that on the marrow, my journey will start
I will take the sacred path previously unseen
For now ’til the end, I will live my life green
