She is there

I feel her in the earth beneath my feet
She brings forth the spirits of the North
As I ground they call to me, a tingling in my toes
I can smell Her in the air I breathe
as She brings forth the spirits of the East
The scent of spring flowers and autumn leaves greet my nose
She is there in the crackling fire
She brings forth the spirits of the South
They tease me with what the future holds, in the flames they dance
I feel Her in the streams and the rain that falls
She brings forth the spirits of the West
They are bold and untamed as they call me to a scrying trance
I ask Her for her blessings and graciously she extends
all of Her knowledge is there to be had
if only I am brave enough to reach out.
Author's Notes: I am always in awe of the power of the Earth. She inspires me to try to be a better person. To learn more and give more and always be thankful.
