Sometimes I feel pursued
By forces beyond my control
Their talons reaching for me
Darkest evil to behold
I think I shall run forever
Just to stay in the light
But there are days when I must wonder
If I should just stand firm and fight
Still other days I am tempted
To let the darkness overwhelm,
Capture and fill me completely
Utter blackness from an unknown realm
