Turn, turn, turn! This massive ball of earth!
Spins and revolves, as day turns into night
Wishes and prayers accompany each day's births
Everything changes-in the end all is right.
As we live and die, breathe and regret,
Kill and rebuild, seathe and beget,
"All is justified" is the litany sung by the wind
"All will be justified...in the end."
Turn, turn, turn! The earth hangs on nothing!
The moon tugs her oceans and raises the tides
while babies take first breaths and young girls become brides
And old men die sleeping, while young men feed their pride.
The world is ageless! The earth is our home
We love it and we hate it, we make it our tomb,
Star light shines anciently down on us all
As we live, die, and prosper, as we rise and we fall.
No power have we over this massive ship of life
Sailing forever into space deep as night
Men marry the woman of their dreams, while others render strife
Yet one thing we have in common . . . we all seek The Light.
