As We Dance Throughout The Mists
I write this sonnet on a sultry night
When the mists float thick in the air
My emotions are floating to new heights
Just to breathe , I hardly dare .
I seem to soar above the mist
A million stars I see
Like the passion of a lovers kiss
That goes on through infinity.
In a dreamlike state, I travel through a maze
I love, I fear , I cry
Things spiral about , I'm in a daze
But my spirit continues to glide.
I call to you from within the mist
Catch me if you can .
I feel the sweetness of your kiss
As you grab me by the hand.
I still have fears , I say to you
This I cannot dismiss
" I love you " ... is what you say to me
As we dance throughout the mists ...
