Nothing never comes, never goes away
It is just there, in the past of days
So what do we do, to have these things
Memories so lost, laments we can’t sing
Forgetting works, just for a while
Remembering hurts, but we smile
Is it illusion, this way we feel?
What happens, when you don’t know what’s real
Finding redemption, in the darkest cold
Seeing now, what we sold
Those laments, that we want to sing
But there lost , behind nothing
We can’t peer, not through
What we see, is it you?
Never again, we will swear
And our hearts, will be there
So as I look, into the abyss
Something there, I may have missed
I see something strange, coming alive
I look harder, and though strive
To feel something, looking back into me
I wait to find, an eternity
Seeing again, what is there
Never alone, I just stare
Just lost, to the haze
Never again, not this day
I look even harder, it begins
To take a shape, is this the end
I almost run, can't no longer stare
I'm just to give in, then I no longer fear
Then I can know, What I see
It is just me, staring back into me.
