Paradox of Knowledge

standing on the world when the moon is full
coming through the clouds casting down its glow
you see your realm melt upon the astrals' pull
all you begin to sense, the universe just grows
Let loose the whirlwind on this night
now your standing upon the edge
Madness loss within these sights
all the thoughts of all things bridge
looking, peering through the void
where nothing is, should all be found
Everything we are I must lose
in this nexus I must be bound
Endless possibilities, one I will chose
all that is, all that’s come, you are shown
your mind is open through all of time
as you gleam all that should not be known
past, present, future now a labeled chime
destined paths laid before our eyes
In the end, all is dark and cold
choice of things we can not deny
Felt deep down within my soul
awaken to everything all at once
our burden is to never reveal
The wisdom now is a plague
what we've seen of all that’s real
Upon this heart which I gave
forever cursed I‘m in this place
For all I feel and know, now is sorrow
The price to look through the infinite space
I weep for what I know will come in every morrow.
The abyss I’ve come beyond
Was this just an end to another mean
All the things finally laid bare
Who would believe what I’ve seen
And all I could do was just stare
Was this just another escape
Terrible price I had to pay
For another life free from fate
I wonder how long I must stay
