Let There Be Night

Let the blinding Sun set,
Let the land be lit by starlight.
Let the shadows gather now.
Let there be night.
Shadows gather ‘round about me,
Darkness come to ring this place.
Let the mirror of the night
Reveal my darker face.
Let the blue sky fade to black,
Let the owl take flight.
Let the shadows gather now.
Let there be night.
Father Darkness hear my call,
Mother Night embrace your child.
Let the midnight tempest blow,
Let the night run wild.
Let the banshee howl above me,
Let the Wild Hunt ride tonight.
Let the shadows gather now,
Let there be night!
