Shadow Boxing with Shango

At night, they say no one can hear you scream! They must not have lived here on St. Paul Street
Where everybody screams day and night
For they are dancing under the moonlight sky of ......
distant realities, close friends and shadow boxing with lovers
Near and far
Step one: find your double-headed axe in my dreams!
Boy, how I love to see the sight of it!
Step two: I see the victory in your light and the unspoken bravery in your dark eyes.
How you fight for me is tremendous!
Dancing into the shadows quietly with quiet distinctions of glory and love abound with justice and loyalty!
Step three: we dance together in a sea of red and white.
The freedom fighter and His belle of the court dance to music that only we know.
Seeking distant realities, kissing close friends and shadow boxing awaiting changes in our lives great and small!
Balancing off the screams of youth and the thundering disrespect, we twirl and twirl around destroying the shadows of our minds!
Step four: we dance in the new light of the day.
No longer do we need to seek distant realities, closer friends nor any shadow boxing with lovers near and far
I see you walk away from the dream.
The dance is over!
I know it's time to let You go!
You need to seek out a new injustice.
Moreover, I need to dance alone in the light of the day
