Basil in the kitchen

There's a hungry fire burning in old man's heart
There's a blue dress in the stained glass window...
There's unspoken stir whispering from the window pane.
Featuring silences from lovers with no free will
There's basil plant in the kitchen, still alive but slowly dying inside
You can see its' reflection through the stained glass
A lullaby from the radio perched on the window sill
Saying good bye, good bye
One starry night my lovely said we've to part
Needed to go my way
Don't wanna be just your friend
Don't want you in my heart
When the relationship ends and you're falling apart
Every magician knows that Basil's good for love
and blue is for healing the heart
Nobody tells you what to do when the love grows away
Nobody tells you when you are falling apart!
I gonna put on that blue lace dress!
Get into my car, drive far away from here......
One of these days, I'll take up those Magick seeds and plant them elsewhere....
One of these days, I gonna grab that missing piece to the puzzle called life
Gonna find me a rainbow that big enough to share
However, until then-I'll just smell the basil in the kitchen
Listen quietly for the phone to ring
There's a rap song screaming from the radio
And it's telling me "it's time to go"
Say bye-bye, lonely girl
There's a lonely heart churning!
A blue dress blowing the winds
a fire burning and
It's time to go
