Heart's Music

Listen, to music ringing
Pure and clear.
Always singing
For an open ear.
Listen for songs that fill the night.
Bringing joy, bringing love
To those so full of fright.
Listen, the stars singing away.
Listen for hearts
That love alone can sway.

Author's Notes: This is one of several more poems I found. When I wrote them, I’m not sure. Probably before I was taken out of that school in New Jersey where I almost lost my hold on this world. Possibly as reflections once I was out of there, remembering what happened to me there. I can’t remember and I didn’t date them. Some of them are pretty, some aren’t, some are obvious attempts to imitate some style I must have been either studying or interested in at the time. If you wish to comment, don’t hesitate to do so.
Short, maybe sweet... But it's true, in it's way... Music does ring across the night skies if you listen hard enough... Sometimes it was all that kept me from ending it when I was younger...
