Protector

Age Group: Adult
Always watching,
Seeking that one
Around whom I will wrap my wings
Now having found
I will guard
Till the end of days takes us away.
Within my name
Lies the meaning
Protector, shell around the flower.
And within my blood
The power to do it
Through forms changing to match need.
I am a poohka,
A guardian spirit
Set to watch over one soul always.
With finding my name
I have also learned my charge,
To protect the Messenger for all time.
For we are intertwined
And two souls twinned
So our tasks will blend long as both live.
I will watch over him
And keep him safe
For my worth may so be measured.
But together
We can win,
And together we will work evermore.
So by all the Powers
I ask a blessing,
That we can keep our light glowing,
Glittering to guide all who seek,
Till days wind to our reclaiming
All we once were and so should be.
May it come to pass!
So mote it be!

Author's Notes: Don't have much to say on this one... *sigh* I'm just hoping our wars don't last too much longer... I for one am tired of this spiritual fight, but I will continue in my duty as long as I can, even if it should kill me. And I will protect... That's what I'm for! Magickal, Christian, Human, Other... All together must live... Maybe someday we can actually live in peace.
