Becoming a Guide
by Rose'Ena Tanu
Age Group: Adult
Once I wrote I needed to find a guide.
Now I see that I am become a light,
A beacon to guide others to me.
But still my light is incomplete,
Missing some integral part.
For I have yet to find my mate.
His light, added with mine
Will glow brighter still,
Flaring to show the Path.
For now, my paler light will have to do.
But someday, the brighter glow
Will be needed by too many
For me alone to light the Way.
For now, my light shines
Alongside the one called Messenger.
Together we glitter brightly,
But neither will reach full brightness
Till both have found their missing parts.
We are a double star,
Shining in the dark to lead,
And once our mates join with us,
Four points will twinkle in the dark,
Leading others on to the sky.
And still other lights will circle with us,
Dancing ever on as the stars cycle through.
Someday, we will glow bright
As the Sun God at zenith,
As the Moon Goddess in full light.
Let us all dance as one
Over the sky and through the fields.
I will help light the way!
Come with me,
Be with me always!
Together we can do it,
And dance once more carefree and happy!
I will be a guide,
One of many,
But one of the first.
Follow my light,
Hear my star song.
We will return to wholeness,
We will be once more One!
All our lights dancing together,
Fuller, more whole, bigger
Than any one part could ever hope.
Join the dance,
Follow the Light.
I’ll try my hardest to lead you,
And when I am whole,
I’ll do it even better.
Till that day,
I’ll be shine bright as I can to help you
As another has helped me.

Author's Notes: *chuckle* Well... It's quite something seeing for myself how far I've come since I first posted "Search for the Guide." I'm not intentionally trying to toot my own horn so to speak, but this is something that I See and have Seen for the past few months though the vision was incomplete till now. I can only hope I'll be strong enough to do what I must to help others find their way! Wish me good luck and safe journeys to you!
