Storm Walker

Through the clouds
Striding free,
Dancing across lightening bounds.
Which gods do I see?
Could be anyone
For all still twirl around.
None of their bones
Are anywhere to be found,
For they live on,
Sometimes willing to help,
But they must be called upon
For their touch to be felt.
Read the myths and legends.
Find there their histories.
And how the world now bends
To hide their mysteries.
Still they play their games,
And offer their guidance.
Long as is not for personal gains,
They will always find us.
Just listen to the winds
And hear their words,
As they dance among cloudy bends
And sing to us of other worlds.

Author's Notes: I was walking out in a thunderstorm last night... Trying to get rid of my anxiety about lightening. I was doing fine... Till someone up there decided to play a little trick on me... Oi! But a lightening flash less than a quarter mile away, if not closer... With the thunder crashing even as the light faded... *shivers* That just about scared me out of my wits. But it happened right after I commented that I felt a little better about the storm's rage... So I know it was on purpose. Ah well... This just kind of came to me after that, so I opted to write it down. *shrugs*
