Oh Too True

Age Group: Adult
Your words speak a greater truth,
One most people would turn aside.
But we who know our ways
Can but try to prove them always.
How I wish others would read your words
And spread the peace they could bring.
However too many would ignore
One who’s wisdom exceeds her form.
Be strong always and our day will return.
We cannot give up when we have this chance.
I wish you well wherever you go,
For all together we will shine aglow
And our peaceful way may rise again
Allowing us the peace we simply wish to find.
We mean no harm to those around,
But they don’t wish to believe we are so bound.

Author's Notes: Seriphina, I can't contact you any other way. I hear your words and know they are true. Most Christians have forgotten that only on Judgement Day, as they call it, is when all will be judged as wrong or right. We truly would not harm them, though we will protect ourselves if we must.
