Beneath the Samhain Moon

Once again we've reached the end
Of a busy workin' day.
The dogs have all been fed,
And the children tucked away.
Now the time has come
For robes and blades,
For Tarot cards and Runes.
For the Witches they do gather now,
Beneath the Samhain Moon.
By Air and Water, Earth and Fire,
We cast our Circle strong.
In Perfect Love and Perfect Trust,
We chant our sacred songs.
And the Lord and Lady
Dance with us,
To Life's eternal tune.
And the Witches they do frolick now,
Beneath the Samhain Moon.
By candlelight and moonglow bright,
Joined hand in hand are we.
We fear no foe, united so,
Together, endlessly.
And the Goddess smiles upon us all,
The God gives us His boon.
And the Witches they go flyin' now,
Beneath the Samhain Moon.
Beneath the Samhain Moon,
Beneath the Samhain Moon,
Oh the Witches we go flyin' now,
Beneath the Samhain Moon.
Author's Notes: This is sort of a "filksong, " intended to be sung to the tune of "Risin' o' the Moon, " a warsong of the Irish Rebellion.
