I fell into a trap of impossibility
I sought my life's end where only it could be
But it lingers on
And I falter
In my own contradiction
And I wonder if ever I'll forget...
Another day and night of separate unity
Another incognito, real as humble be
But now the leaves fall
And it is no more
But in sweet memory
And I wonder if ever I'll forget...
Save me, I hoped you would
But in between us stood
The love of your life
And you know I bowed in strife
Cause I fell into a trap of impossibility
And I sought my life's end where only you could be
