Transcendence

When you look at the stars
What do you see?
Infinity, to be sure
Glorious marvels indeed.
The source of creation
From the beginning of time.
Nothing is more inspiring
Than the heavens, so sublime.
Moonlight shines down
Upon the Earth below.
Bathing us all
In it's heavenly glow.
Commanding the tides
Of every ocean deep,
What wondrous secrets
The heavens do keep.
Knowledge and wisdom
Yours to receive.
You have but to listen,
You need but to believe.
Wisdom cannot be bought
It's not sold in stores,
Wisdom must be earned
And so, is cherished all the more.
