Eclipse

It was a dark and stormy night
And all the dreams were lost.
The Moon was high
but still twas black.
And all the Sky was knots.
What once so bright
this belle of night
When gaze upon Her lover,
Will now weep
in fitful sleep
When veiled behind another.
When viewed by those
So far below
It seemed so short
The time She went.
But Him
Her only World spun 'round
It seemed a year was spent.
Her World leaned back;
A break of light!
The dawn cannot be far behind!
But though night stop,
Her World yields not.
Around it only She must wind.
Author's Notes: Must have been written sometime around 2000. Heh, can you tell that I was having an on-again-off-again relationship with a guy who was cheating on me at the time?
