by Rev. Matthew Crowson
Age Group: Adult
Did you know that sometimes I can almost see her walking beside me when
I am alone;
Sometimes when the world seems so crazy, she brings my sanity unto me like waves upon the beaches of my consciousness;
Sometimes when I close my eyes I see her there,
Her soul shinning like a the light of a million suns,
And it brings me comfort to know that a man as humble as I,
Could in a world as cold and unrelenting as this,
Look upon the face of a goddess here upon the earth.
When I think of this all of my fears wash away and it is as if I am once again whole,
Free to walk upon the path she trods here,
Free to find a synthesis of both our ways.
Through the broken stained glass doors of my consciousness,
I look through the cracks and pray to the Madre Diosa,
That never shall awake and that I shall dream this dream ever more.
