Bus Blessing

(Imagine the buzzing energy of the bus' spinning wheels becoming your energy... Filling and refreshing you. Think about who you worship, or simply in the name of Love, say the following.)
"Fast as the wind and fueled by fire,
Over lake and hill, this bus.
Bless those who Will this bus,
With harm to none.
Though rain, it may enfold her,
And sun may strike her sides,
In safety may her patrons ride,
And blessed be.
Driver alert and engine true,
May traffic be kind this day.
So may it be, this day.
With harm to none."
(Imagine all your excess energy, tension and stress draining out through the spinning wheels of the bus and being pressed into the earth. Know that the energy will go elsewhere to be useful. Have a nice day!)
Author's Notes: I was thinking of putting this in the "Humor" category, as it was originally written in 2001 as a joke in an attempt to have it printed on the "Poetry On The Bus" series for Seattle Metro buses. But hey, I've used it. Let me know if you do. It would bring me great glee to know that there were more magickal buses rolling around the streets somewhere.
