The Old Man shuffles slowly
walking his dog
it's hard to say who's older
as neither has a spring in his step.
It's sad to see a dog
who doesn't sniff and mark his spot
but worse to see a man
who can't see how pretty
the day is.
Author's Notes: Just a musing about an old man who keeps walking his dog, though neither of them can figure out why.
