Can I Have A Day Off?

My glasses hide the dark circles
A smile hides shame
Afraid to be the only one
Too weak to say no.
Ahh, the tyranny of the work place:
"Are you still standing?"
Yes, but--
"Then see you tomorrow"
*sigh*
Author's Notes: Ya know, I think 70+ hours a week for three months would kill ANYBODY, but it took me all that time to figure out I was getting gyped! Well, at least the overtime was awesome. I tell ya, it's not "I scratch your back you scratch mine." No! It's, "I scratch your back and when my fingers are bleeding and I ask for a band-aid, you say 'a little to the left'". So eff- them.
