The branches reaching, blocking out the sun.
The darkness creeping, light shimmers, on the run.
Root of all things interwine; the fate of a thousand, divine
Blood trickles from the salty stones.
Wind running thru whistling bones
The piper and grim are calling to us.
The souls of the departed giving such a fuss.
Making man angry and angrier still.
Feed an endless hunger, one that cannot fill.
None from the past
Nor for the future
See the dragonfly soar
Draining life from our very core
Easily snuffed, fragile to touch
Might as well be made from silicon dust
No time limit
You have to have time to start
Cosmically carried
Eventually torn-apart
No will, no way
No divine light
No purpose, no reason
Just live for the fight
Find your own destiny
Carry your own self
The minds of the weak and weary
Crumble to dust
Wrapping their brains around
The concepts of lust
Lust for life and all its briefness
If you don't live for the moment
You have a serious weakness
No war, no strife
Just live your life
No battles, no pain
People, it's all just an endless game.
