What is this I Feel

What is this I feel,
This sweet heaviness upon my chest
That arises when I think of you?
It squeezes the breath from my lungs
And I feel as though I might die.
My legs beg for strength enough to let me stand upon them.
After having drunk the poison
From the bowl resting in the hands of love,
It has richly and warmly coated my throat and on it’s way down,
it has taken a fierce hold upon vital my essence;
down to my very depths in the place where my soul had once rested,
alone in the cold.
I now see and feel you everywhere;
The sent of your hair is upon the wind;
Your sweet Carmel skin is woven from
the nectar of the bees hive;
In Your eyes is captured the blackness of the night sky so deep and clear
I feel as though I might leave this earth and fall into space,
lost and eternally adrift in your universe.
You are everywhere and in everything
And you are the wine of love sent
coursing through my veins by my beating heart aglow with the heat of passion’s fire.
Each new Pulse sends fresh hope and renewal
flowing in untamed rivers to every part of my existence.
If this is a dream, please do not wake me,
for I would arise in hell if I found I had only imagined you.
Let me instead lay asleep
in the arms of love, forever.
