In Soft Moon Light

In soft moonlight,
when wolves howl deeply,
People sleep uneventfully,
Animals lay down, and fowl rest,
that is when I know time best.
When the air is cool, and the water calm,
with not a breath of wind,
that is when I live again.
Shadows playing in the trees,
and sweet darkness is all I see,
that is when your close to me.
hoping to find you when I breath.
Smiling contently at the quiet serene.
just happy being me.
