Where are you

Where are you my love?
What ever has the darkness done
By concealing your sweetness
from the yearning of my soul?
Perhaps your beauty has been cast
into the night sky to rest upon the full moons glow,
suspended amid the prying eyes of stars and of angels.
Your essence is painfully out of reach,
Yet close enough to feel its power as your passing gravity
pulls savagely at the ocean of desire writhing within my soul.
The waters of passion that churn within my dark, forcefully break
in dynamic explosions of heaving froth,
dressing the rocky shores of want in a white luminescent silk.
If you could just quench my longing for you, only for but a moment,
by leaving your glowing temple of light,
that has in it’s radiance, blurred night and day into a warm glow,
and reach down to pet my brow;
your gaze fixed upon mine once again in love and in hope.
It is then that the skies will clear and the raging ocean
Will become as glass with not a ripple
as I gently lay my head upon your breast
And fall fast asleep in the arms of love.
