I know
by Oracle
Age Group: Adult
I know the weight of the world,
It lies on my shoulders.
How tired and weary am I
I have no time for small things,
they are of great significance
of which I cannot comprehend because I cannot hear through all the din.
It is my fate this round to make the voices sound so other can hear them too.
I am but one voice in many who actually has the means to dispose.
But who would believe me?
Who would condemn me?
Who will burn me?
Who will listen to me?
I am opaque, I can hear you, but you cannot hear me.
Say what you will, there will be no other for fifty years, in each race.
There is no hope right now, she is resting, weary from all those who demand her attention.
She is tired of your lazy litany.
Get your own willpower from your own being and use it.
It is there, you just do not see. You can access the voices too, it just takes 7 years.
Do you have the patience?
Or will you go mad trying?
