I'm the pearls of dew on the morning grass
The sweet veil of memories of years that pass
I'm the soft touch of flowers in the setting sun
The victor in a battle that will never be won
I'm great and mighty, deep as the sea
Timeless as the stars or infinity
My heart is a fountain where cool waters flow
My touch is as soft as the first winter's snow
You'll find me in fields of green grass and trees
You'll find me in the fall as yellow autumn leaves
Your heart has been faithful to your glorious quest
Where night turns to morning you've searched without rest
So look deep within you where inner stars shine
The beauty of nature, reflections divine
For mine is the story, the love of old friends
I’m immanent, with you, within you extends
The circle, the spiral, which binds our breath
And grants you renewal where there is no death.

Author's Notes: Renewal is ours every day. The maid, the mother, and the crone remind us that life is a circle and a spiral. We all occupy some part in the grand journey, but our positions shift like the seasons of the year. This is a cycle of joy and beauty, not one of fear if we learn to see all around us and within ourselves.
