For A Late Lughnasadh Harvest
by Life is a Dance Regardless

Bake bread or cornbread in the shape of a man, cut off the head, and plant it with a piece of fruit or vegetable in the garden. Repeat:
Green man, God of Harvest bounty
Bring my garden warmth aplenty
Winter stayed so late this year
My song, my plants have yet to hear
Warm my garden from the ground
So that my plants may hear my sound
As your life ends, give unto Earth
So that my garden may give birth
Author's Notes: My garden was late in blooming and producing this year, so I felt I had to write something to let the God know he was still in my thoughts.
