Tonight!

Tonight!
The night is full of stars
So peaceful in the skies
The twinkling light of Mars
Its stellar claim belies
Still many can not tell
A planet from a star
While others don't see well
In darkness nor too far
Astronomers will claim
Such error is horrific
The planet's only fame
Its size, must be specific
The planets once were nine
But Pluto got the boot
Will Mars be next in line?
Who knows? The point is moot.
So listen to my tale
The evening brings a smile
Emerging from its veil
The moon is dressed in style
The planets, stars and more
Delight with sprightly show
When you walk out the door
Look up, it's free, so go!
