Who has seen your eyes?
The warmth of love’s lullaby?
The gentle wisdom of an open summer sky?
Who has seen the rain?
The timeless tug of pain?
The endless flow of memory’s refrain?
Within your eyes
I find my home;
I find the radiance of flowers in the spring.
Who’s seen your eyes?
Who’s sought your smiles?
Who’s seen the gentle longing hidden deep within your eyes?
Who’s seen your eyes,
And drinking deep
Has felt the beauty of your eyes, so long asleep?
I see your eyes
Reaching deep, as you see in mine—
And as we touch, there are no words, there is only us.
I see your eyes
And deep within,
We embrace as one, complete, where no one’s ever been.
