Secrets in Stardust
Tell me you love me, as I have told you true:
Tell me the secret that I have shared with you!
Please don’t draw back from the wonder which we share—
Life is too precious to suffer in despair!
Hearts, unforgiving, will never yield or bend.
Thoughts long unspoken, are wounds that never mend.
Life is for living, believe me when I say,
Touch me, I’m with you, you’re in my heart to stay.
Dance with me ever, beneath a starlit sky;
Bid me to sing, sweet, without explaining why.
Speak to me softly, the wisdom from within;
Show me the wonder—a place I’ve never been.
Give me your smiles through a thousand sunny days.
Show me your love, dear, in quiet thoughtful ways.
Reach for the moon and the starry sky above;
Secrets in stardust revealed, when we found love.
