Silence

Silence, defining silence.
My love has fallen into blackness,
Into the space between heart beats,
Into the darkness between the sparkle of diamonds
that peer down upon me through the night.
My heart is shattered into dust
Glittering the mindscape of sorrow
Which I now must drink from the cup
Of love you left in my hand.
As I drink the wine of sweetest memories,
It sooths and burns me inside
leaving me confused and alone.
A world of hate forced between us
an age old war between Gods and men,
threatened by our love that sheds every difference
when we meet in the Vesica Piscis*
between the worlds we share.
But they cannot take from us our love
Locked within our hearts
that bridges time and space
allowing us to meet always
in that secret place
alone in our minds.
Farewell my princess,
I’ll love you always,
No one but you
In that dark place
Where hate cannot reach us
until I breath my last.
