Winds of Want

Age Group: Adult
Sunwind whirls, caressing streams;
dancing in a careless rhapsody.
Softwind moans a cry of desire,
tempting the Storms of Fate.
Fatewind slips, sifting, shifting
into the maelstrom, the miasma.
Deathwind writhing, twisting, listing.
into the night, Gale of Gods.
Westwind blows and dies in birth.
In the Eastwind an aching lament:
The chrysalis of new breath;
lovelorn in sweet reedy strains.
