Seashells

Your gentle waves of love
Are slowly washing away
The shore of my heart
Washing away the very features
That I always so loved.
Your vivid depths of blue
Are slowly seeping into my core
The wonderful kisses of salt
Eating away my very soul from the bones.
Your love
Leaving a mere carcass
A shell of what once had been
And never should have died.
