Resurection

There is no feeling greater than a forgotten sensation.
A feeling you thought you'd never feel again.
When you walk into their arms and every hardship,
Every pain,
Every trouble,
Disappears withing their soft embrace.
Ecstacy pulsates through your veins
And a veil of steel envelops you.
Soft to the touch, yet impenetrable.
You would think that after what had happened to you,
You could never feel that way again.
They destroyed who you once were.
You would swear off those kind of people.
And then you meet one,
And they give back who you once were.
At the time when you were ready to crucify yourself
For being so low down and worthless,
They come to save you.
You're in their arms and nothing matters anymore
Just so long as they want ot protect you.
So long as they want you to be safe
So long as they want you with them as well.
