For the Love of a Mother

Age Group: Adult
She has given life to all of you
And through life She will follow you through to the end
She has given Love beyond all
She is the One who answers to our unending call
She is a Mother who has given all She can
But know look at how we have been
We kill our own out of blood-thirst and rage
We destroy ourselves by a drug craze
We care not about the sacrifices for us She has done
To us the people of the world number just one
How many times have we thought of Her Love given?
How many times have we failed to give?
For us She would do anything if we but ask
Why then, should Loving Her be such a task?
For is it not She that has given to us life?
And is it not She who would give all to end our strife?
But still that is not good
For still we kill and disobey thinking we should
Now a cry to you does go
Heed it well for true Love to show
�Stop the fighting, evil, and hate of each other�
Please heed these words, stop it all
For the Love of a Mother!
For the Love of the One who has and will Love us to the end
For the Love of the One who is our Best Friend
She has given us all She could
Should we not return it as we should?
If we can�t find the Love for a Mother
How will we ever find Love for a Brother?
Go forth now with Love in thy heart
From a Mother never depart
Beyond life itself She shall Love you true
So do as she Lovingly taught you
Do for your Mother fair and well
And with overflowing Love your heart shall swell
Remember ever true these words in your journey:
�The only cry that truly breaks the heart is like no other
For there is only one,
And it is the Cry of a Wounded Mother�
