Unsung Heroes/Heroines

Just because I am special I am hated,
My truimphs and victories are many and yet unsung,
Is it because I am not normal or part of a prophecy,
What ever it is I would rather remove my tongue,
Rather than know I was to many so great,
Than to suffer the non existant fate that society deems,
Deems appropriate for what they fear,
So that way they think,
Think that they have rid the fear of those they hold dear.
Halluncinations are what they are all experiencing,
Because I have yet to leave or be defeated,
For what they have encountered of me was just a fling,
So for all those that hate me please be seated,
Because wether or not you like it my life I shall sing,
Hear it now and forever,
Let it guide you through a rough life,
And through all your endeavors.
For all that was left in my path was ruin,
For all the blood that was shed,
For all the nights I wondered ponderings to the moon,
For that last night I went to bed,
Was the last straw in this intolerable life,
Sure I could have ended it all,
With one swift slash of a knife,
With that slash I could end my life.
What would my life be then you may ask?
It would be a mockery and a joke,
Or most likely forgotten,
But I choose to stay and give you hope,
Hope that life gets better even after the worst,
Because thats what happened to me,
And you will feel better to know your not the first.
Keep on living and prove the world wrong as I have,
Right their wrongs and do the impossible,
For the impossible is just unbelievable and unlikely,
But we all know such has happened to you and me,
Do it to see the looks on their faces,
The looks of suprise happiness and shock,
So that way it will be you,
Who will get the turn to mock.
Author's Notes: This is devoted to the people who keep me from the brink of madness, the people who read my poetry and learn from it... the people who are or were close to me...
Also devoted to those that think suicide is an answer to a hateful society. Just know this, by killing yourself, you let them win, show them your strong not by fighting but living. Like I said, keep living just to live, its a beautiful life, we have plenty of time to be dead... lets live while we can.
